🚀 Faculty prep, mission style.

Before the semester even starts, our faculty are already educating. During Professional Development Week, Professor Kennedy and Professor Hamel transformed one of our skills labs into a space-themed escape room with puzzles, clues, and hands-on challenges built around ATI's newest tools.

The mission: get our faculty confident and ready on the new ATI model, so our students get the strongest support possible from day one.

Nearly 20 years as a paramedic and firefighter. Two semesters later, an RN.

Karen spent almost two decades serving her community in EMS before deciding it was time for a new challenge. Through United Nursing College's Advanced Placement Pathway, she was able to build on the experience she'd already earned and transition into nursing.

Today, she's working as an Emergency Department RN at a Level II Trauma Center.

Her advice for fellow paramedics?

"Just do it. The discipline, adaptability, and clinical judgment you've developed as a paramedic absolutely carry over into nursing."
