The Department of Criminal Justice Education and Training is part of the Health and Safety Division at Napa Valley College. This department was formerly known as the Administration of Justice Department. We offer two Associate Degree Programs and five different Certificate Programs. Our mission includes preparing students for transfer to a 4-year institution and or for entry to a career in the cri

minal justice system. The Criminal Justice Training Center operation is currently suspended (effective June 30, 2022). The basic police academy, adult corrections academy, requalification course, and 832PC arrest course are not currently being offered. Background investigators needed to access a student file must call 707-256-7700 to make an appointment before coming to campus. We are offering a select list of California P.O.S.T. The Department of Criminal Justice Education and Training is guided by an advisory committee that includes representatives from law enforcement agencies in Napa County. Students at the Criminal Justice Training Center can enjoy all of the facilities at Napa Valley College including a cafeteria and bookstore. The College offers many forms of recreation including tennis courts, basketball courts, and a scenic 3-mile jogging trail that runs adjacent the Napa River.
