🎃 No tricks, just treats! 🍬

Thank you to everyone who joined Rivier Serves and Rivier Campus Ministry for this year’s Trunk or Treat. Campus clubs, athletic teams, and members of the Rivier community came together to decorate their trunks, hand out candy, and welcome local families for an afternoon of Halloween fun.

We loved celebrating with the Nashua community and creating a festive event filled with smiles, treats, and Raider spirit!

Rivier welcomed the NH-LIFT (New Hampshire Long-Term Investment to Fuel Transformative Research) Leadership Team for a campus visit on Friday. As an NH-LIFT partner institution, Rivier is part of this National Science Foundation-funded initiative that expands research opportunities and strengthens educational and research collaborations across New Hampshire.

The visit began with a luncheon bringing together members of the Rivier community and NH-LIFT representatives from partner institutions, including Franklin Pierce University, Plymouth State University, Antioch University, the University of New Hampshire, New England College, and the NH EPSCoR (Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research) team.

President Sister Paula Marie Buley, IHM, a member of the NH Research and Industry Council, delivered welcoming remarks that highlighted the importance of scientific curiosity, mentorship, and collaboration in advancing research and innovation. Guests then toured Rivier's Science and Innovation Center, where Rivier faculty showcased the teaching labs, research facilities, and technologies that support student learning and scholarly research.

Serving the community, together 💙

As part of Rivier’s Student Success: Campus to Community courses, new students took part in the annual First Year Day of Service. Alongside peer mentors and instructors, students volunteered throughout the Greater Nashua community.

This year, students engaged in multiple service projects with Corpus Christi Food Pantry & Assistance, Inc., Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire, Marguerite's Place, the Major Drive community, Nashua Conservation Commission, Nashua PAL, YMCA Camp Sargent, and Rise Against Hunger. Some projects included organizing donations, deep cleaning spaces, preparing camps for winter, and packaging meals.

Thank you to our community partners for helping bring Rivier's mission of "transforming hearts and minds to serve the world" to life.

Rivier graduate Joseph O’Reilly ’25 turned his student internship into a full-time career.

After accepting an internship offer with BAE Systems in Merrimack, he gained real-world experience, from managing contract closeouts to building professional connections.

Following graduation, Joseph joined BAE Systems full-time, carrying the experience and connections he developed as an intern into the next stage of his career.

Our annual Golf Classic brought together alumni, friends, and supporters for a great day on the course, raising $47,000 in support of Raiders Athletics and the success of our students.
