Welcoming Our Students Back

This month marks the start of the 66th fall semester at Aquinas College. New Student Orientation, campus tours, friendly introductions, and urgent questions about the location of various classrooms have been some of the familiar sights and sounds of the beginning of another academic year. Please keep the students, faculty, and staff of Aquinas College in your prayers as we seek to grow both in wisdom and in deeper in communion with God and each other.

The community came together in Nashville on Saturday, August 8, as the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia welcomed the Hillbilly Thomists to The Dominican Campus for a special celebration of the feast of St. Dominic.

On Saturday, August 8th we had a memorable celebration here on the Dominican campus for the Feast of Saint Dominic with an amazing concert by the Hillbilly Thomists

July 15-19 we hosted a group of musicians from across the country at our Singing of the Hours workshop at our Siena Hall Conference Center. The workshop was led by Sister Rosemary, O.P. During this five-day residential sacred music workshop participants were immersed in prayer, silence and hands-on chant practice forming participants to understand and embody the Divine Office as living tradition.

Sunday, July 12 though Saturday, July 18 we hosted another week of CGS Intensive Residential Formation at our Siena Hall Conference Center.
