Student Spotlight: Cori Lynn Blankenship
P2, Class of 2028
Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy

Meet Cori Lynn Blankenship, a passionate pharmacy student who’s making the most of every opportunity that comes her way!

Favorite Memory So Far:
“My time as the Executive Intern in Association Management over the summer! I gained a whole new perspective on how associations function and how they drive real change for our profession and our patients. Plus, I loved reconnecting with fellow students from across the state during the Summer Meeting — it was inspiring to share ideas and grow together!”

Cori’s Advice:
“It sounds silly, but just show up and ask where you can help. You never know what you’ll learn or how you’ll contribute unless you jump in. I often joke that I just ‘show up and do things,’ but that’s how I’ve gained many of my skills. Be open to new things — it’s always worth it!”

Fun Fact:
When she’s not diving into study guides or flash cards, Cori is spending time with her husband and their small "petting zoo.” Together, they enjoy great food, coffee, and everything fantasy, sci-fi, and literature. Her husband a fantasy fiction author, oil painter, and all-around creative keeps life joyful and full of laughter.

We're proud to have students like Cori who bring heart, curiosity, and leadership to the future of pharmacy. 💛

We're thrilled to spotlight Virginia Truxillo, a passionate and dedicated P3 student at Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy!

Favorite TPA Memory: My favorite memory as a TPA member is attending the TPA Winter Meetings and attending the student specific programming. I really appreciate the non-traditional pharmacists that have taken time to speak with us!

Virginia’s Advice to Fellow Students: Make sure you are subscribed to the 10 for Tenn to get weekly updates on advocacy efforts and TPA events!

Today, Marcrom’s Pharmacy celebrates 47 years of serving Manchester!

Back in 1978, Ray and Jane Marcrom opened the doors with more than medicine in mind — they built a place of kindness and Christ-like care. Though we lost Ray last year, his vision, and his love for people still echo in this town.

Thank you Mrs. Jane for keeping the team true to the vision, and thank you to Joe and Sarah McKamey for carrying forward a legacy that’s bigger than a business — it’s family.

Here’s to 47 years of faithfulness, and glory to the Lord who guides our path.
