Developing a successful food service operation takes far more than just great recipes. In this course, culinary students master everything from pricing and food purchasing to facility layout and strategic menu design. To wrap up the semester, students presented their complete final menu concepts for original restaurant, bakery, and catering ideas they are passionate about launching!

Watermelon Fest was sweet, savory, and full of incredible culinary talent 🍉🔥

Nossi Culinary spent the weekend at Nashville Farmers' Market's Watermelon Festival where Chef Zac and four Culinary students led a live cooking demonstration featuring sweet and savory watermelon BBQ glazed chicken wings. Students prepped ingredients, assisted with the station, and served fresh samples to festival guests throughout the day.

Events like this give our Culinary students real experience in professional cooking, food preparation, and community engagement. These hands‑on opportunities help students build confidence, sharpen essential kitchen skills, and create portfolio‑ready work that supports their future careers in the culinary arts.
