Former Tractor Supply CEO and COB Executive-in-Residence, Greg Sandfort, made this spring unforgettable for our students! 🙌
Over 5 class periods in Dean Emeritus, Dr. Ray Eldridge’s Leading & Managing People course, Greg listened to case presentations from 5 different undergrad teams—then packed each session with candid feedback, leadership lessons, and real-world stories from the C-suite. He did it all again in Dr. Donita Brown’s class, bringing the same energy and insight.
That’s 10 case presentations and about 60 students who learned directly from a former CEO. The students presented Greg with a signed class photo to thank him for his time, help, and encouragement.
Thank you, Greg, for investing in our students in such a powerful way!

Declaration Night was one for the books! 💼✨

On April 14, our students officially declared their business majors and took a big step into their futures.

• Students declared their majors and joined their academic communities
• They networked with alumni and community leaders who are living out the careers they’re aspiring to
• A panel of professionals and alums shared wisdom about life, faith, and the workplace
• Each student received a professional padfolio to help them show up prepared for internships, interviews, and beyond

We’re so proud of our newest business majors and can’t wait to see how they use their gifts in the world.

Executive-in-Residence John Weisenseel was also recognized for his 5 years of service to the COB and was presented with the Bison Charge! Award. Thanks for all you do, John!

One of the nation’s best and brightest: Nate Wallace! 🌟
Lipscomb Business student-athlete and Entrepreneurship major, Nate was selected by Poets & Quants as one of the 100 Best & Brightest Business Majors across the country.

His excellence has been recognized through numerous honors, including the 2025 Joe and Malinda Ivey Endowed Scholarship in Strategy, the Robert O. Clouse Innovation Award, Academic All-ASUN, seven semesters on the Dean’s List, and a school record in the men’s 4×400-meter relay.
Next up: Nate is preparing to pursue his MBA, with plans to intern in consulting before ultimately opening his own barbershops and launching a philanthropic foundation—and maybe one day stepping on the TED stage!
