Catch “Windows and Mirrors” the recent work from Zach Duensing currently installed in Gallery Two in the E. Bronson Ingram Studio Arts Center.
This work debuted during the May 2026 Arcade Arts second Saturday Art crawl - this new install offers a more traditional gallery experience viewing the works.
Duensing is a Nashville based multi-disciplinary artist and writer working inn sculpture and paintings. His work feels with the hyper-modernization of society and the further integration between technology and biology. It is often minimalist and influenced by futurism, brutalism, and science.
“Windows” is a series of miniature paintings cut from larger, failed paintings utilizing digital collages from the artist’s sketches and generated images exploring memory.
“Mirrors” is a series of robot-created one drawings on photo paper. Automated and chaotic, the abstract drawings are a visual representation of randomized code - allowing the viewer to project their own patterns and images upon - their reflection.
