At John A. Gupton College, we are proud to invest in the future of funeral service education. Through our endowment fund, we are able to provide meaningful financial support to our students each year.

📌 In 2023, 22 students received a total of $74,450 in endowment scholarships.
📌 In 2024, 14 students were awarded $48,662.50 in total.
📌 In 2025, 33 students were awarded $64,050 in total.

We’re committed to helping our students succeed—and we’re grateful to those who contribute to this ongoing effort.

Since 1946, John A. Gupton College has been proud to educate generations of funeral directors and embalmers. For our 80th birthday, we’re celebrating the graduates who have been part of our journey along the way!

We wrapped up Alumni Weekend on Saturday evening with a wonderful dinner at Jeff Ruby’s. It was a great way to close out a weekend filled with good conversations and time spent together.

The annual John A. Gupton College Alumni Business Meeting was a tremendous success! 🎉

Yates Lecture Hall was filled to capacity with alumni, faculty, and staff as we gathered to celebrate the continued success of John A. Gupton College. We were honored to recognize alumni receiving their 50-year and 25-year pins, celebrating their many years of dedication and connection to Gupton.

We also welcomed and recognized the Alumni Officers for the upcoming year and celebrated the strong leadership and continued involvement of our alumni.

This year’s meeting was the largest Alumni Business Meeting to date! What an incredible testament to the strength, pride, and tradition of the Gupton family.

The Saturday Breakfast during Gupton Alumni Weekend is always a charming tradition and a wonderful way for alumni, friends, and supporters to come together and enjoy fellowship.

Celebrating 80 Years of Gupton! 🌸

As John A. Gupton College celebrated 80 years of excellence in mortuary science, Alumni Weekend was beautifully enhanced by stunning floral arrangements throughout the celebration. From the dining tables and refreshments to the photo areas, these beautiful designs added an elegant touch to every gathering.
