When Dean Emeritus Eric Johnson led the transformation of the Vanderbilt Business building, he grew our footprint by 50% without sacrificing what makes Owen feel like home.

Last week, the Owen Armed Forces Club and the Bass Military Scholars Program hosted Nashville Networking Day, bringing together business leaders, veterans, and graduate students.

This year's keynote panel explored the three parts of any transition: the discomfort of stepping into the unknown, the discovery of who you are outside a uniform or role, and the discernment to choose a path that aligns with your values, not just the first opportunity or the biggest paycheck.

Thank you to the student leaders for making this annual tradition possible and to the community members who support the event each year.
