This is WHY she went AOII

"Before AOII I was someone who always stayed to myself and in my own bubble, always nervous about meeting new people. I was looking for a place where I could be my full self without worrying about what people thought about me. One core memory for me was during the fall recruitment process, when I had really good conversations with so many women in this sorority, which solidified the house I wanted. Once I joined AOII, those conversations turned into real connections and friendships. Since joining AOII, this sorority has allowed me to grow in so many ways. AOII has helped me become more confident in my social life and in everything I do. I would love for you to come see what makes AOII so special and find the same friendships and confidence that I found here."

Celina, ‘MC Spring 26, is writing to the PNM who is the first in their family to Go Greek!

“Dear PNM,

I come from a big family who had no connections to Greek life before me. When I first joined AOII I was worried about not "fitting in" with the sorority stereotype and being horribly lost. That was until I met my big and she guided me through my recruitment process.

Her kindness and inclusiveness made me feel valued and worthy of calling her my sister. She paved the way for me and made my initiation the best it could be. I wouldn't be in AOII without her making me feel like I am a part of the family.”

As you prepare for recruitment, AOII encourages you to follow your heart and make connections with women who feel like family.
