NSU Student Activities Board Northwestern State University
Events for the students, by the students!

The University Programming Council (UPC) of Northwestern State University is one of two organizations on Northwestern State University's campus of which each and every student is a member (Student Government Association is the other). UPC uses a committee system to plan, advertise and implement events for the entire campus and has up to ten standing committees to which students can become members.

Each committee is responsible for a specific area of programming and is the basis of UPC's overall programming. Students are encouraged to join committees and attend committee meetings in order to share their ideas and input in planning and implementation of programs. Committee members participate in the programming process from beginning to end, from idea inception to event set-up, working the event, and breaking down an event. By participating on committees, students are ensuring that UPC is meeting the needs of the entire student population and that your voice is heard.
