🎓✨ Celebrating Excellence at IU Southeast! ✨🎓
Join us in congratulating Alyssa Newcomb, a proud recipient of the Chancellor’s Medallion Scholarship!
Alyssa is a senior double majoring in Elementary and Special Education, and her journey is nothing short of inspiring. As a dedicated single mother to her nine-year-old daughter, she continues to push herself to reach her fullest potential, proving that determination and passion can overcome any challenge. 💪💙
She chose IU Southeast for its proximity to her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, and found so much more: a supportive community, meaningful relationships, and an academic environment that has helped her thrive.
Beyond the classroom, Alyssa works as a Registered Behavior Technician, providing ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum, making a real difference in the lives of others every day. 🌟
This scholarship helps ease financial barriers as she completes her undergraduate degree, and she plans to continue her impact as an educator with Greater Clark County Schools after graduation.
We are so proud of you, Alyssa! Your hard work, resilience, and heart for others truly embody the spirit of this honor! 👏🎉
