🚨The bodies of women are not public property. Consent is not optional, and nobody is entitled to another person’s body. 🚨

This National Day of Action, we’re challenging the attitudes, behaviors, and systems that perpetuate sexual violence. We refuse to let sexual assault become so common that society grows desensitized to it. We refuse to let survivors’ stories go unheard, and we refuse to accept a culture where women must constantly consider their safety simply for existing in the world.

Women deserve to be women freely without fear of harassment, coercion, or assault. Every person deserves bodily autonomy, respect, and the freedom to establish their own boundaries.

Consent must be freely given, informed, and ongoing. No one owes you access to their body.

Stand with survivors. Challenge r**e culture. Speak up. Ask for consent. Hold perpetrators accountable.

🚨 October 8th: National Day of Action 💚

800+ people experience sexual assault every day in the U.S., and 100 of them are college students. Yet, only one case is making headlines. How many more voices must go unheard before we demand change?

The Cornell 7 case should not be the only sexual violence case making headlines right now. Behind every headline are countless survivors whose stories go unheard, whose experiences are overlooked, and whose pain deserves to be acknowledged.

We cannot allow sexual violence to become so common that society begins to normalize it. We cannot become so desensitized to these stories that we stop being outraged, stop demanding accountability, or stop fighting for change.

Women deserve to exist freely in this world. To walk home without fear. To attend college without fear. To dress how they want, live how they want, and simply be women without the fear of being assaulted. Safety should never be a privilege.

📢 It’s time to move beyond “not all men” and confront the reality that sexual violence continues to impact countless lives. We must hold perpetrators accountable, support survivors, and demand the closure of legal loopholes in NYC and Connecticut.

We refuse to let sexual violence become our new normal. Raise your voice. Stand with survivors. Demand change.

Silence protects perpetrators. Collective action creates change.

Stand up. Speak out. Demand accountability. 💚
