Earlier this week, celebrated the 20th anniversary of its Intensive Weekend MSW Program (IWP), bringing together alumni, faculty, staff, program founders, and friends to honor two decades of empowering working professionals to advance their education while continuing to serve their communities.

From its founding vision to the generations of social workers making a difference today, IWP’s legacy reflects the power of flexible, collaborative learning and a shared commitment to strengthening communities. Here’s to 20 years of impact and the future ahead!

Seven faculty members have been named to the 2026 Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientist Rankings, recognizing the reach and influence of their scholarship across social work and related disciplines.

Congratulations to Drs. Edward Alessi, Victoria Banyard, Stephen Crystal, Chien-Chung Huang, Emily A. Greenfield, Sarah McMahon, and N. Andrew Peterson!
