We’re so excited to be preparing this amazing group of students to become horse supervisors for Ag Field Day! Follow along to see them grow into leaders as we practice giving feedback, running patterns, and all things equine!

HUGE shoutout to Dr. Ross for teaching our crew, with help from TAs Aditri Singh & Grace Kreft 🐎🐎🐎

Cheers to a wonderful semester ahead 🤍

Well that is a wrap! 2026 eggs AG field day horse show is in the books. Everybody got a tiny bit wet but definitely could have been worse! Blow our pictures from the end of the show in the next couple days we will be posting more pictures from the day. But I want to say thank you to all of the student coordinators and supervisors. And congratulations to all of the students on a very hard-worked semester!

Getting the show on the road! Students got here. Bright and early and horses are getting braided and prepped for the show to start at 10:00. A.m.! So far the rain is holding off! Fingers crossed we can make it to noon without rain!

Can’t believe Ag Field Day is already so close! Students have been working hard with their horse partners. Over the last week they had also had some extra help from our show judge, Kennis Fairfax, and our very own Director of Equine Science Center, Carey Williams. Thank you so much for helping out our students!!

Catch them both at the horse show on Ag Field Day! The show will be at the ring outside the Red Barn on the Farm at 10 am

Week one complete!! We will have one more week learning basic horse safety, general handling, and grooming in the barn, then head out to the ring to learn about patterns after spring break. Can’t wait for this fuzzy herd to shed out in the next few weeks!

The snow last week delayed us, but as of today our Handling, Fitting and Exhibition class has officially started! Stay tuned for the journey to prep for Ag Field Day. These good boys and their students hope to see y’all April 25th!

Here are our supervisors in training working with both roles. Supervisor and student combinations going through patterns and critiquing both themselves and others. We're winding down with the semester but excited to get started with the spring handling and fitting class! Welcome new supervisors, Jessica, Sean, Jocelyn and Hannan. 👍🎉
