One of The Language Center's distance learning classrooms in the Rutgers Academic Building is being used by Rutgers professor Sylvia Chan-Malik's fall 2017 course, "Islam in/and America," in which students from the Universities of Maryland, Michigan, and Nebraska (Lincoln) are also participating. This is the first time that so many B1G Academic Alliance universities are connecting to share a course. The Language Center staff, in collaboration with SAS-IT staff, provide ongoing support and training to ensure a successful technology-based academic experience for Prof. Chan-Malik and her students.
