RH Center for Israel Engagement

RH Center for Israel Engagement The CIE aims to engage with and educate about Israel - its people, culture, and society.

The CIE exists to expand engagement with and knowledge of Israel - its people, culture, and society. We believe connection with Israel is relevant and important to students and faculty with interests in a range of topics: history, political science, Middle Eastern studies, Jewish studies, the Hebrew and Arabic languages, economics, anthropology, archaeology, art, media, science, and technology. We

promote this vision by facilitating programming including lectures, discussions, film screenings, and social events. The CIE believes that these modes of education and engagement are critical to positive and constructive relationships between Americans and Israelis.

Last night, the first session of FAOC (Fighting Antisemitism On Campus) took place at Rutgers Hillel. This club is a student-led initiative to create a place for students to express their feelings and experiences with Antisemitism on campus and take action when needed.
Many students came to the first event, Jews and Non-Jews, whom are determined to stop hate and ignorance on campus.
Thank you everyone for coming and for taking action. We hope to see you at the next meeting!
