REPOST from
Look who we found working hard & getting it done!
✨✨✨✨
For our next , we have Amanda T. (‘26)😎📚 Amanda is majoring in Political Science, with a minor in Critical Intelligence Studies on the Pre-Law track👩⚖️. She took not one, but FOUR Summer Session courses last summer: Introduction to Environmental Science, Introduction to Ethics, Defense Policy, and American Foreign Policy.
📖 Why did you take these summer courses?
“I took these Summer Session courses in order to graduate a semester early. Especially as a transfer and international student, I wanted to ensure I graduated on time, and now I’ll be graduating next December!”
👩🎓 How were your summer courses beneficial for your future professionally?
“Taking these summer courses was convenient for me because at the time I had an internship and a full time job, and it was hard for me to stay on campus. The asynchronous nature of these classes was really helpful so I could manage my own time.”
👂 What advice would you give future summer students?
“Discipline and time management is so important when it comes to taking classes. In the summer, we all want to have fun, which is why it’s important to find a balance between coursework and relaxation. These classes are very flexible, so I was able to prioritize my grades while enjoying my summer.”
Stay tuned for more stories this summer!
