“Living and working in a developing country also pushed me outside of my comfort zone. Limited resources meant we had to rely heavily on physical exam skills, creativity, and teamwork rather than advanced diagnostics. I learned to be resourceful, culturally aware, and flexible—qualities that will be essential in my future career. Studying abroad reinforced my passion for veterinary medicine and showed me how impactful compassionate, accessible care can be on both animals and their communities.” (2/2)
