Shout out to Erin Lee, Learning Assistant in General Chemistry I, for being on being an outstanding Learning Assistant!

Miriam Xie reached out to us to express her sincere appreciation for Erin and stated, "As a student returning to academic study after a significant time away from school, I found General Chemistry 161 particularly challenging at the outset. Erin consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism, patience, and subject mastery in supporting my learning. She took the time to explain complex concepts with clarity and ensured that I fully understood the material, which greatly improved both my confidence and academic performance.
Beyond her academic support, Erin fosters an inclusive and encouraging learning environment. She is highly approachable, attentive to individual student needs, and committed to helping students succeed. Her ability to communicate effectively and her genuine dedication distinguish her as an exemplary Learning Assistant.
I truly appreciate her dedication and the positive impact she has had on my learning experience. I wanted to make sure her efforts are recognized."
This is what it is all about! It is not only a huge deal to be recognized by your peers, but also to have them share it with the LA Program Team. Please join us in saluting Erin for a job well done.
