Hello Everyone!

As a fellow Rutgers parent, I understand that the beginning of a new school year can bring a lot of questions for families. To help ease this transition, the Division of Student Affairs is hosting a virtual Parent and Family Town Hall on Tuesday, August 18th, from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. The R Family Council will be facilitating the event, where representatives from Academics, Dining, Residence Life, Student Health, Financial Aid, and Student Accounts will be available to answer your questions.

You can ask questions during the event, or if you prefer, submit a question ahead of time with finding the link below in the comments. Please submit your questions by Monday, August 17th, before 5 PM. Also, I encourage you to review the Parent and Family Guide as it may already have answers to some of your queries.

Last chance for New Parent and Family Orientation! Our last few sessions for this year are coming up. If you've been putting off registering for this informative and enriching program, now is your chance!

There are only a few sessions of New Parent and Family Orientation left this summer! Join us for one of our remaining programs:

July 30th, August 4th, and August 6th feature full-day in-person programs that include lunch and campus tours.

August 5th from 12pm–2pm offers our final Virtual New Parent and Family Orientation. All registrants will receive a recording of the webinar, so you can participate even if you're unable to attend live.

Discounts are available for Pell Eligible families, by emailing us at [email protected].

New Parent and Family Orientation sessions start in less than two weeks! Sessions typically do sell out, so secure your spot today!

Some NPFO FAQs
Parents can attend any of the session dates.
In person sessions are full day programs that include lunch and tours. Virtual sessions are about two hours long.
