Rutgers University's Vice Chancellor of Lifelong Learning and Innovation (LLI), Dr. Angelica Diaz-Martinez, Psy.D., has been appointed by New Jersey's Governor Mikie Sherrill to the New Jersey State Board of Psychological Examiners.

Dr. Diaz-Martinez previously served as a teaching professor and program director in the Department of Clinical Psychology at the Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. She brings her extensive experience in clinical psychology, professional training, organizational leadership, and psychology licensure legislation to her role on the Board, which is dedicated to protecting the welfare of New Jersey residents and regulating the practice of psychology.

We are excited to introduce Dr. Adrian Cameron as our new Director of Lifelong Learning and Continuing Education.

Dr. Cameron brings over 22 years of experience from Rutgers, specializing in continuing education, non-credit programming, technology, and workforce development. In his new role, he will help advance Lifelong Learning and Innovation (LLI) as a center for educational opportunity, social mobility, professional growth, and workforce development.

As a collaborative leader, Dr. Cameron will build relationships with industry and business partners, community organizations, and campus stakeholders to promote the continued expansion of our programs.

"The CCE remains a clinical and research hub within the federal World Trade Center Health Program, providing comprehensive medical monitoring, treatment, and mental health services to thousands of responders and survivors throughout New Jersey."

President William Tate shared this message to the Rutgers community marking the solemn 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. "We continue to grieve all the souls we lost that day, as well as those people who have died subsequently of various causes related to the aftermath of 9/11. We treasure the heroism of the passengers on Flight 93 who prevented one of the four planes from reaching its intended target. We remember in a special way the courage of those first responders who selflessly rushed into the towers to rescue others."
