Wilmington University’s Wildcat Welcome Week runs Monday, August 31 – Friday, September 4, 2026 and the Office of Military Affairs is excited to celebrate with our military-connected students at Dover AFB!

Are you looking to qualify for Officer Candidate School (OCS) or re-class your MOS to a different specialty? Your path starts with the Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT)!

As a drilling Army National Guard Soldier, you can take the AFCT at no cost to raise your GT and Line Scores.
📝 How to apply:
Coordinate with your unit to obtain a DA Form 4187 (Request for Personnel Action)

Have your Unit Commander sign the form

Submit it to your state Education Services Officer (ESO) or Test Control Officer (TCO) to get scheduled

When was the last time you really checked your Leave and Earnings Statement (LES)?

Your LES is a critical tool for financial readiness. A regular review helps you catch errors, understand your total compensation, and plan with confidence.

This guide breaks down the 6 key sections you need to know:
1. Entitlements: What you earn (Basic Pay, BAH, BAS).
2. Deductions: What's taken out (Taxes, SGLI, TSP).
3. Allotments: Money sent to other accounts.
4. Leave: Your balance of days off.
