We present “Getting to the Nuts & Bolts of Empowering Black Families”. You are invited to The Mental Health Townhall, an event open to the community hosted by the Rockland County Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. We’ve partnered with mental health and social service professionals from the American Psychiatric Society to help deliver insights on addressing the problems of stress, anxiety, substance abuse, self-harm, depression, and self-doubt bought about by mental health challenges.

The Townhall will provide a non-judgmental safe space to encourage open dialogue and to offer solutions for all community stakeholders, including but not limited to:

• parents
• students
• teachers
• principals
• guidance counselors
• police
• social workers
• D9 members
• pastors
• barbers
• pediatricians, and
• primary care providers
