The Muskingum Golf team opened its fall season at the Defiance Fall Invitational, where the Muskies posted a 282-283-285 over three rounds for a team score of 850. The weekend produced the three lowest rounds in program history, along with the lowest 36-hole total ever recorded by Muskingum.

* Senior David Link Jr. had a record weekend, carding the 2nd, 3rd and 8th best rounds in Muskingum golf history on his way to a 66-68-67-201. Link went to a playoff hole and claimed medalist honors, and he now sits number one in the record books for lowest 54-hole total.
* Sophomore Logan Smith came in 7th place with a 68-72-71-211, placing him 2nd in the record books behind his teammate for lowest 54-hole total.
* Freshman Xander Smalley recorded a 74-70-77-221, tying him for 3rd on the all-time 54-hole list.
* Junior Nash Hays rounded out the scoring with a 77-73-71-221, tying Smalley for 3rd in the record books.
