That's a wrap on our final on-campus seminar 🥹💙

After three semesters of on-campus learning, growing, practicing, questioning, laughing, and building the clinical skills that brought us to this moment, our SLP students are officially heading off to their off-campus placements this fall!

Next stop: schools and medical practica, where they'll continue learning, make meaningful connections with clients and families, and begin putting everything they've worked so hard for into practice. We couldn't be more excited (or more proud) to watch them take this next step!!

We celebrated the occasion the only way we know how... with SLP-themed temporary tattoos, Polaroid photos to capture the memories, lots of laughs, and one last breakfast together before this exciting next chapter. 📸🦉✨

To our students: Trust what you know. Stay curious. Lead with compassion. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Your future clients are lucky to have you, and we can't wait to see all that you'll accomplish! Here's to the next chapter. Go make your mark, future SLPs. We had so much fun celebrating our incredible undergraduate and graduate students as they crossed the stage and officially began their next chapters!

We’re so proud of our amazing and everything they’ve accomplished. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the hard work, and the impact you’ve had on our community!

We are SO proud of this amazing group of and everything they’ve accomplished throughout their time at .

From thesis defenses and research presentations (some pictured here!) to clinical practica, late nights, laughter, friendships, and so many meaningful moments along the way — these students have truly left their mark on our department 💙

It’s been such a joy watching you grow into thoughtful, compassionate, and talented clinicians, researchers, and advocates. You are going to make AMAZING , and we cannot wait to see all the lives you impact moving forward 🗣🧠👂

Happy April and final stretch of the semester to our amazing community! 💙🦉

Check out our CMD 560 Speech & Language Clinical Practicum crew wrapping up an AAC lab with a little fun (and then getting the duck out of there 🐤) after a hands-on dive into Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)!
