New Directions in Environmental Law

New Directions in Environmental Law The annual NDEL Conference is a forum for novel approaches to the practice of environmental law.

Inaugurated at Yale in 2010, the New Directions in Environmental Law (NDEL) Conference is a forum for novel approaches to the practice of environmental law and the creation of environmental policy. By convening academics and practitioners, NDEL brings together a new community to solve environmental challenges. The 2023 conference will be jointly hosted by Yale Law School, Yale School of the Enviro

nment, the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, and the Harvard Food Law and Policy Clinic. The theme is "Rethinking Resilience," and the conference will cover law and policy considerations around a variety of topics, including ocean and coastal justice, food sovereignty, Indigenous knowledge, closed loop supply chains, and the Farm Bill.
