Are you interested in joining our sustainability team? If so, this position may be perfect for you! As a food recovery intern, you would work with others to gather surplus food on campus and deliver it to local food pantries / soup kitchens. Our Pollinator Pathway is looking incredible after our sustainability team spent days weeding and mulching it! All of their hard work was definitely worth this end product! 😍

The Pollinator Pathway is a corridor of non-invasive plants that provide habitats and food sources for pollinating insects and birds. In return, those creatures support the quality and reproduction of our plants in the garden! By adding these plant species to otherwise empty spaces, we are doing our part in building biodiversity and supporting our local ecosystems.

In this post, we highlighted some of the plants that we have in our pathway. Stop by the garden to spot these species in person! Once you see how beautiful they look, you may become inspired to plant them in your own garden🦋🌸
