From ice cream socials to paint and sip, the McDougal Graduate Student Center had an unforgettable 2026 summer! 🍦🪴⚽🎨

​We beat the summer heat at our Ice Cream Social, explored New Haven during our Plant Walk & Propagation, cheered on our favorite teams at the World Cup Watch Party, got creative over breakfast at Bagels & Crafts, and unwound with a canvas at Paint & Sip.

​A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made these events so special. The summer may be wrapping up, but we are just getting started!

We had a great last family activity. It almost rained on us but we braced it and had fun playing games and eating food. It was a great year and we can’t wait until next year. 😁

Empanadas from Grab and Go Empanadas were a hit during April FFF as we said hello to spring. Empanadas were served alongside refreshing spiked lemonade to welcome the warmer weather.

Love seeing everyone getting hooked on crochet 🧶🍀 Lucky Charms were consumed, clovers were stitched, and new skills were unlocked. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to make a little luck of their own!

What an amazing day at Serve & Smash: Badminton Basics! 🏸💛 Last Wednesday, the Yale Club Badminton Team taught everyone the ropes, and we all got to play games and put our new skills to use. Huge thanks to them for making the event such a success!
