Congratulations to Soror Tamia Tucker on her recent graduation from Southern Connecticut State University with her Master’s degree in Public Health.
Soror Tucker is a true inspiration, having transitioned from dedicated service in the United States Marine Corps to scholarly pursuits at Southern Connecticut State University, where she attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health with a specialized focus on Health Promotion.
Since 2010, she has stood as a stalwart Connecticut State Trooper, and in 2015, while serving as a Trooper, she completed a full-time Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Soror Tucker channels her physical pursuits, by engaging in weightlifting and yoga, and has created her own health and wellness company, Blue Sol Empress, LLC.
She is currently a Sergeant, supervising patrol Troopers, and holds the position of Chapter President of the Connecticut Chapter of the National Black State Troopers Coalition, Inc.
Soror Tucker also commits her time as a counselor with the Village Initiative Project, Inc.
