Thank you to everyone who joined Paige MacLean for Beyond "What's Next?"

Live participants had the unique opportunity to join the conversation that aided in self-discovery as they transition away from a full-time career and into a new chapter.

If the conversation raised questions worth sitting with, we invite you to explore the Experienced Leaders Initiative (ELI) at the Yale School of Management Executive Education.

ELI is a rigorous, immersive program designed for accomplished leaders who are post-career, but far from finished. Over five months, featuring three weeks of in-person learning at Yale SOM, participants work alongside distinguished faculty, expert coaches, and researchers in next-era transitions.

Applications close: December 7, 2026
Program begins: February 1, 2027

🎙 “You need to admit the truth you don't want to listen to."

In the new episode of Long Life Learning, host Kavitha Bindra explores the value of vulnerability in leadership development with Eriona Gjinukaj, former COO of Dompé, plus:

— how coaching helped her navigate the most significant transition of her career;
— how to create space with a coach to ask difficult questions and develop the confidence to act;
— how coaching helped her define her own leadership style.

Her perspective underscores a central theme of our new Certificate in Professional Coaching program: meaningful growth happens through a strong coach-coachee relationship built on trust, curiosity, and accountability.

🎙 Machiavellian, transactional ideas of influence may be effective in the short term, but rarely create lasting relationships, according to Yale School of Management ’s Zoe Chance.

In the newest episode of Heidi Brooks’ podcast, "Learning Through Experience," the two researchers invite you to explore the relational, visceral reality of self-influence through coaching, plus:

- why the hardest person to influence is often ourselves;
- why coaching skills are becoming increasingly important for leaders navigating complexity and change;
- the messy work of everyday leadership, like showing up with greater presence, empathy, and intention in our everyday interactions.
