The Department of Environmental Health Sciences (EHS) at the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH) is to advance scientific knowledge about the connections between environment and health through:
• Research in the fields of environmental epidemiology, molecular toxicology, exposure science, risk assessment, biomarkers, epigenetics, and gene-environment interactions.
• Education of the next generati

on of scientists and public health leaders that can design science-based solutions for and explain current and future environmental health challenges. Our multidisciplinary research involves collaborations from across YSPH, throughout Yale University, and around the world. Our faculty is committed to training EHS students and fellows who are a central focus of the EHS teaching and research activities.
