🐢 Sisterhood Week Day 4: Regional Pride Day

Green and white sisterhood was on full display at the 89th Eastern Regional Conference in College Park hosted by the Zeta Mu Chapter 💚🤍✨

From the Turtle Trot filled with decorated chapter rooms, music, food, snacks, and gifts, to the elegance of the Gatsby-themed Awards Banquet, every moment was unforgettable. Our Zeta Chi casino-themed room reminded everyone that when it comes to sisterhood, service, and fun—we’re always all in. 🎲✨

The Prayer Breakfast brought beautiful moments as Soror Renda joined the choir, while our FILs and MOI participated in the collection of tithes and attended the “Growing Men Conversation” session.

We were honored to receive both the Chapter Business Month Award and Chapter Social Media Award, while also capturing special legacy photos featuring our chapter president Soror Desiree and Soror Shayonna celebrating their mother-daughter legacy.

A special congratulations to Soror Shayonna on attending her first regional conference and leading the First Timers Recognition chaired by our Madam President. With inspiring guest speakers, fellowship, a new stroll, and our Eastern Regional Director being recognized as Regional Director of the Year, this conference was truly one to remember.

Next stop: Petersburg for next year’s conference hosted by the Zeta Rho Chapter 💚🤍

Today, we celebrate these amazing creatures and recognize the importance of protecting their habitats. As ladies of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., we embody the values turtles represent and are dedicated to moving intentionally, serving purposefully, and protecting the communities and causes close to us. 🐢

🎤 Last night at Harlym Blue'Z Bar and Grill was nothing short of a vibe! Thank you to every Soror, friend, family member, and supporter who came out to support our Karaoke Takeover fundraiser. We had food, fun, and fellowship all night long! From Lola’s Girls singing SWV’s “Weak,” to the beautiful gospel rendition that filled the room, the energy was unmatched. And of course, Soror Dominique kept the vibes going with her tambourine in hand! 🎶✨ (Videos in comments)

A special thank you to the Gamma Delta Chapter, Zeta Rho, and their Pelati for coming out and showing love and support. We also want to thank the owners of Harlym Bluez and the DJ for their hospitality and helping make the night such a success.

Congratulations to Soror Candice for winning our 50/50 raffle! 🎟️ And a very special thank you to our Fundraising Committee and Chair, Soror Michelle, for putting together yet another fabulous karaoke night for us. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated!
