Over the past few weeks, we’ve loved seeing alumni back on campus—and even better, they’ve brought along the next generation! From sharing favorite spots and memories to showing their kids (and friends’ kids!) where their Colby-Sawyer journey began, it’s always special to see campus through their eyes.

Nicole Mayo-Gowell ’94 returned with her daughter, Charlotte, while Holly Latulip Converse ’07 stopped by with her daughter and their friends and neighbors. We’re pretty sure campus tours are even more fun when your tour guide is an alum!

A big congratulations to Cindy Bates ’92 on a well-deserved honor! 🎉

Cindy recently received the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers’ (CHART) Spirit of CHART Award, recognizing her outstanding leadership, mentorship and contributions to the hospitality industry.

With more than 30 years with The Common Man family and 17+ years as a CHART member, Cindy’s career is a true reflection of the power of leadership, service and community.

Hilltop Histories continues with 🏛️ Burpee Hall.

Built in 1934, Burpee Hall honors Perley Burpee, one of the 11 founders who helped establish Colby Academy in 1837. The building originally housed the college library and, today, is home to a vibrant community of upper-year students.

From the earliest days of the academy to generations of Chargers who have called it home, Burpee Hall remains an important part of life on the Hilltop.

Congratulations to Lauren Rogers '17 on receiving the Nurse Leader Award from Dartmouth Health! 👏

As Clinical Nurse Supervisor in the Intermediate Special Care Unit, Lauren has created a culture where nurses feel supported and empowered to do their best work. Her leadership helped transform her unit from relying on travel nurses to becoming a fully staffed team of dedicated full-time RNs.

Well done, Lauren!

Hilltop Histories continues with one of the most scenic spots on campus: ⚽🥍⚾ the Kelsey Athletic Campus.

Dedicated in 1999, the Kelsey Athletic Fields honor Patricia D. Kelsey and her husband, Robert P. Kelsey Jr. Pat's impact on Colby-Sawyer extended far beyond athletics. An accomplished golfer, former coach, trustee and founding member of the Chargers Club, she devoted decades to supporting the college and its student-athletes.

Today, the Kelsey Athletic Campus is home to Chargers athletics, championship moments, and Homecoming traditions that bring alumni back to the Hilltop year after year.

Whether you competed on these fields, cheered from the sidelines or returned for an alumni game, we'd love to hear your favorite Kelsey memories. ⬇️
