We were pleased to host the Department of Homeland Security's Chemical Security Analysis Center for tonight's science seminar series. Dr. David Reed, Dr. Jerry Caballo, and Ms. Juliana Firek discussed how DHS protects against accidental and intentional chemical spills by providing analysis and recommendations for response to chemical threats.

1/c Ashley Fuller and 1/c Ryan Allen are using a plasma jet they built to kill (non-pathogenic) E.coli as part of their capstone work. Cadets will be creating posters for a mid-semester snapshot of their projects and we will share some here. They will share their final results at our Research Symposium in the spring.
