This is the kind of photo that stops me in my tracks... the kind of emotional power that one millisecond holds for decades to come is something I'll never be able to accurately describe! Many of you know I hold a BA in fine art and an MA in art therapy.... *this* type of moment right here are where those two intersect. My FAVORITE classes were art history, and the beauty of processing, sharing, and connecting through making art will never be lost on me. It's never just about beautiful photos for me... it's always the gravity and honor of capturing a fleeting moment to be treasured forever.

A little throwback to just over 2 years ago. It was my due date with our 4th and final little love. I'm so glad I set the tripod up and took some photos of our sweet girl like this. It's not in our plans to add more to our crew, so I'm extra thankful I snagged this perspective- my belly stretched and round with another whole person to love. 🥹🥰 tomorrow she turns two... what a gift.

I HONESTLY DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW I NEVER POSTED THESE! What! I *loved* this heirloom family session. A dreamy family winery in Ramona CA. A sweet and loving family. A barrel room with dramatic shadows. Rocking chairs overlooking their home and vineyard. Literal perfection. ❤️❤️

Had the best session with the sweetest little family over the weekend!! I love the Coast Guard life honestly. When we meet other coasties, it's an instant family connection! Loved spending time with these 3 and can't wait for the next one! 🥰❤️

When your senior session turns into an on fire session...

Carter has 2 great loves- his truck and his girl. So naturally, I said HECK YEAH when their mamas asked if we could include both. I had so much fun and would do it again and again!! Congrats to carter for graduating a year early and starting his own business... so much to be proud of!!
(Sidenote, how GORGEOUS is this venue?!)

Maddi and Preston got their gallery today and I'll tell you what... i was SO excited to send them. This is one of the SWEETEST couples/ families in the whole wide world and every single moment was a joy to be present in. Thank you thank you for trusting me with your day... what a gift!! I'm pretty dang proud of these too because after traveling out of state for this wedding June 20th, coming home on June 21st, packing, leaving San Diego and MOVING to Florida June 26th, an 18 day cross country family road trip, arriving in FL July 12th, and completely moving our family in... their gallery was not only on time but a day early. 🤣 brides- just a friendly reminder that as you search for a photographer, make sure you choose someone who TRULY does care and will move mountains to make everything perfect for you!! Capturing your memories is a heart project for me, and it's an honor every time you invite me to share in the most important days of your lives.
