Phi Kappa Theta - University of New Orleans

Phi Kappa Theta - University of New Orleans This is the official page of the Louisiana Alpha Phi Chapter of Phi Kappa Theta at University of New Orleans.

Our chapter was founded in the early 1960's by many members of a local fraternity known as Sigma Alpha Phi. Unfortunately in August 2009, the chapter was forced to temporarily shut down operations due to financial difficulties. Luckily, several young men from UNO sought to rebuild the chapter. Some of these young men have remained with the colony, as well as several new members. All members of Phi

Kappa Theta- LA Alpha Phi are constantly seeking like-minded men to join their ranks. If you are a young man who lives by ideals such as: working hard, never giving up, being loyal to and committing to something bigger than yourself, cooperating with others to achieve a greater goal, caring for others, and being a leader in every aspect of your life we ask you to strongly consider joining our fraternal development. If you are interested in joining or organization of learning more, please e-mail the National Staff representative that is on campus and recruiting at [email protected].

The Phi Kaps of UNO would like to announce that last week six more young men expressed interest in becoming a part of Phi Kappa Theta. They are an outstanding group of men. There is no doubt that these young men will restore the greatness that this fraternity once held on campus.

The Phi Kaps are all praying for your protection and are ready to help UNO as well as our community recover from any damages that Hurricane Isaac might bring. Stay safe and God bless!

Just to be clear, this chapter has nothing to do with any Toga party that may or may not happen on Saturday August 25th, 2012. We have disassociated ourselves with the party and have no control over whether or not it happens. No active members will be attending this party, either. Thank you all for your time.
