Happy Thursday! Sharing one of the ways in which we motivate our students to stay on track. Last Month we held our very first Attendance Challenge here at Unitech Training Academy New Orleans! Our push is to not only motivate our students to show up every day but to occasionally reward them for their efforts. We get it life happens and we have students from all walks of life - some are parents, some come straight from work some days, and some find ways even with transportation issues. We gave our winners some feel-good bags just as a way to say thank you for showing up no matter what!

Happy Tuesday! As promised here's a recap of some of what we've been doing here at Unitech Training Academy New Orleans's Campus. Last month on On September 15th & 16th, we had the pleasure of hosting our very first Family and Friends Day here at Unitech New Orleans. Our goal was for our students to invite their loved ones to get a glimpse of the career paths they have chosen. It also gave them the opportunity to tour the new campus and see what all the programs had to offer. It was a huge success, and we're looking forward to the next one that we're already actively planning! Are you thinking of starting your journey here with us at Unitech New Orleans? Happy Monday!!! We’ve had some big things happening at Unitech New Orleans! Over the next few days, we'll catch you up on what’s been happening. We can’t wait to share “What’s Going on Wednesdays”. In the meantime, here’s a pic from the Saint’s 5k run that our Campus President Terrell Briggs, our Enrollment Coordinator Krystal Blatcher, and our Career Development Coach Rayana Fisher took part in last month. Next year, we're making it a campus-wide party with the entire faculty, staff, and students, making it a special Unitech New Orleans event with the shirts to prove it!

Last Thursday our Pharmacy Technician students took a field trip and visited the Walgreens Specialty Outpatient Pharmacy-UMC. It gave our students the opportunity to see the ins and outs of a real pharmacy and also build connections as they prepare to wrap up their studies and move on to clinicals in the coming weeks. This could be you. Are you ready to take the next step? ➡️ https://unitechta.edu/program/pharmacy-tech/

Last month we had the pleasure of hosting an Acadiana Ambulance Tour and Seminar which was facilitated by our amazing career services coordinator Ms. Rayana Fisher. Ms. Sheleve James came and gave the students an interactive experience and tour of an ambulance. The students also got the opportunity to learn about and use some of the medical equipment used by emergency first responders when they're put in the field.

This past month Unitech Training Academy New Orleans had the pleasure of hosting ULDI and it was a huge success. Our topics covered Education and Outcomes, where they learned about the vital role of the Education Team – from the selection and organization of the curriculum we use to show our instructors creatively teach the lessons - and how that teamwork across all positions, leads to the outcomes and possibilities that Unitech provides for our students.
ULDI (Unitech Leadership and Development Institute) was created by our President / CEO, Noah Brandon, as a way to invest in the Unitech Training Academy faculty and staff and build leaders across all of our locations
Think of it as a behind-the-scenes look at Unitech. ULDI class members spend several months learning about different departments, developing leadership skills, and collaborating with colleagues from across Louisiana.

Happy Friday!! What better way to wrap up the week than by celebrating our students who had made the Presidents Honor Roll, Banner Roll, and Perfect Attendance for last month?! Our Campus president Terell Briggs, and Director of Education Berta Jefferson, took photos with our honors students in front of our brand-new wall installation.

We also had a ring out ceremony as well where our students who have completed their coursework got to ring the bell 🔔as we wish them a farewell as they head off to clinicals!
