The College of Music and Media community is deeply saddened by the passing of Music alum Riley English.

“Sometimes the teacher learns from the student. We learned a great deal from Riley. Every week she had fresh and remarkable ideas. She was a stunning guitarist and a wonderfully creative explorer of sound possibilities whose compositions were beautiful jewels. Riley was so kind. Always helpful and never judgmental. There is a hole in music where Riley used to be.”
— Dr. Janna Saslaw, Professor of Music

To celebrate her life and legacy, friends and fellow musicians are gathering for a memorial concert in her honor.

Music for Riley Concert
Date: August 20
Venue: Carrollton Station
Doors: 8:00 PM | Music: 9:00 PM

Please join us in remembering Riley, celebrating her music, and supporting her loved ones during this time.
