Noise Levels: The 1st floor Civic Center and 2nd floor Library spaces are for collaboration and conversational noise. We have both group and individual study areas, but don't expect hushed voices. The 3rd floor Library is for quiet study with little talking. Occasionally whispering a question to a friend is fine, but collaboration is only kept in the study rooms. The Library 4th floor main areas (foyer and main study area) is for silent study with no talking; there are individual study pods here in the main study area to buckle down. The technology labs (AR, VR, Innovation Studio, and Data Visualization Studio) are collaborative with conversational noise. Please choose your area according to your study needs and respect the other library users in their quest for knowledge.
