P. David Soliman for AKPsi Board of Directors

P. David Soliman for AKPsi Board of Directors Welcome to my page for my 2019 Campaign for Alpha Kappa Psi's Board of Directors! I greatly appreciate your support! Thank you for your support!!

Invite ALL your Brothers! Alpha Kappa Psi has had a dramatic influence on me. I have the career I have today because of AKPsi. I am the leader I am today because of this Fraternity. My closest friends are Brothers. I can honestly say I probably wouldn’t have met my wife if it weren’t for this Fraternity. I am running for Board of Directors because instilling the passion I have for this Fraternity

in all of you, and in turn giving you the best tools and resources to pass down to future generations of Brothers, is the very least I can do to give back to a Fraternity that has had such profound impact on my life. As a member of the Board, there are a few areas I would like to focus on:
1) Providing the best online tools for Chapter Management – Whether it’s Rush, ACR Reporting, Pledge, Collecting Dues, File Storage, or connecting with Alumni, we can do it better, and make it simpler for Chapters.
2) Enriching the Alumni Member and Chapter Experience – As a Business Fraternity, we are a Brotherhood for life. Networking and Career Development must play a critical role if we are to keep our Alumni active and engaged.
3) Encouraging Chapter Development and Investment – I want lay a plan for Chapters to go from “good to great.” I want to simplify and encourage Chapters to create endowments, push Chapters to challenge themselves, and provide incentives for Chapters to improve their charitable images in their communities.
4) Improve the Alumni Volunteer experience – I feel that seeing dedicated and successful Alumni volunteer is critical for a collegiate members to in turn become a volunteer and truly see that AKPsi is for Life! Smaller regions would lead to more direct involvement for volunteers and lead to less volunteer burnout. Most Importantly, I want to hear from you. The Board should act in the best interest of the Chapters and its membership, and that is an impossible task if lines of communication are not open. Please feel free to ask me questions, debate me, or give me suggestions! I promise to respond. Furthermore, if elected, I will keep this page running as a portal to communicate with all of you. Thanks again for all your support! In U.. & I..,

Three and a half years ago, Brian Acton interviewed for a position at Facebook. He was turned down. Unemployed and discouraged by other unsuccessful interviews (Twitter), he founded a startup, WhatApp. Yesterday, WhatApp was acquired by Facebook for $19 Billion. That's an expensive mistake for Facebook. What does your chapter do to make sure you identify, recruit, and developed talented leaders?

P. Dave for AKPsi!

Thank you for your support!! Invite ALL your Brothers!

Hello Brothers! I am running for a seat on AKPsi's Board of Directors. Alpha Kappa Psi should be in the business of experience. The student experience. Experiences as a college student that separate you from your peers and give you an edge in the job market. Experiences that breed relationships that last a lifetime in the personal and business realms. We should never shy away developing and recognizing events and individuals that execute on those margins. We should never accept the lowest common denominator as the acceptable standard for what we do, but develop pathways that make a higher expectation achievable.

It's my belief that we need to emphasize that students are our biggest asset. Programs shouldn't be dictated from the top down, rather they should be built from the best and most dynamic ideas from student chapters and shared in our Fraternal community. The Fraternity should be a innovation lab of ideas for students, and students should be at the forefront designing, tweaking, and implementing of any program.

Most importantly, I'm looking for your input and ideas. My goal is to have a student sourced list of 100 ideas that we should be putting in the Fraternity's strategic and operational plan. I want to make sure that student voices are heard. My hope is that you'll support me in this endeavor, and share this with other Chapter Presidents and brothers.
