Back to School Mass and Blessing of Backpacks was a special way to start our day!

Campus Minister Tobi Flair and UHC students sang and played guitar beautifully as faculty, staff, and students celebrated Mass together.

At the end of mass, UHC Muslim Student Association President Abdelraouf Ayyad shared a powerful prayerful message from the Prophet Mohammed about living a purposeful life. It was a beautiful fusion of culture, religion and belief...that spans all denominations and was a practical lesson for good living.

President Dr. Stanton McNeely closed with a reminder to all to be compassionate care givers to our community in the spirit of our sponsors, the Marianites of Holy Cross.

Fr. Pat blessed backpacks and sent us off for a successful semester.
