Cooking for a Cause was an amazing success!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, tapped into the dining hall, and supported this important cause. Through our Swipe Out Hunger program, Sodexo will be matching those taps with meal donations to help support students facing food insecurity.

We also want to extend a special thank you to all of our campus and community partners who joined us and helped make this event possible.

And of course, a special shoutout to our lead, Nene, for creating an amazing dish inspired by two pantry-friendly ingredients and showing us just how delicious and accessible these meals can be!

With 20+ years of culinary experience across luxury hospitality, cruise operations, and higher education dining, Chef Courtney brings a passion for culinary excellence, food culture, and community to the competition. She is also passionate about using food to spark meaningful conversations around food access and food insecurity.
