Today, we celebrated Health Professions Day with some amazing food and coffee trucks coordinated by LSU Health New Orleans School of Health Professions! We also kicked off our school’s Item Drive for Children’s Hospital Liver Clinic by writing letters for these previous kiddos awaiting transplants! And finally, we did this all while wearing PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness month in support of those who have fought, who are currently fighting, and who will fight. 🩷🫂

Kicking off PA week with a shoutout to our clinical year students!!🤍🩺🥼

We are still feeling all the love and celebration from our families, faculty, friends, and loved ones who have supported us during our journey! Since then, we’ve stepped into clinical year with so much excitement and pride for the profession we are becoming a part of!

Didactic year was filled with lots of hard work, countless hours of studying, long days and late nights, successes, challenges, and so much growth. We are now getting to experience the reward of putting everything we learned in the classroom into clinical practice!

PA week is a chance for us to reflect on how far we have come, celebrate the profession we are a part of, and look forward to all that is still ahead for us! We are so thankful for everyone who has supported us along the way as we grow into compassionate and confident future PAs!🤍
