The Delphic Fraternity, Inc. (Gamma Sigma Tau) was founded in New York State on October 13, 1871, re-established on March 11, 1987, with origins dating back to 1833. The historic multicultural fraternity is represented by one active undergraduate chapter in the Commonwealth of Virginia, two active graduate chapters in New York City and Charlotte, North Carolina, and three alumni chapters in New Yo

rk State. The fraternity has chartered 14 chapters in New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Virginia, and North Carolina. Delphic of Gamma Sigma Tau Fraternity is one of the oldest independent fraternities in the country and the first official multicultural fraternity to be formed on the East Coast.
