We are officially recognized by the New Paltz Student Association and we work closely with Anthropology Department faculty. Together, we form a strong community that supports learning about other cultures, human history and heritage, and human interaction as well as the four major subfields of anthropology (linguistics, archaeology, cultural anthropology, and biological anthropology). The Club hos
ts movie nights, guest speakers, fieldtrips, and funds its members to attend anthropology-related conferences. By providing a relaxed atmosphere to talk about all things anthropological, the Club is a great way to meet new people who share a common interest in others, their past, their present, and their future. As we like to say, ours is "The club for humans who enjoy other humans."
