Last week, the District Board of Trustees members toured our West Campus in New Port Richey to oversee the progress being made through the partnership between PHSC and the Dayspring Early College Academy.

PHSC is excited to see this partnership continue to grow and provide more students with the opportunity to earn college credit and build a solid foundation for their future as we expand and open additional classrooms for students.

PHSC’s Welding Technology program provides hands-on training and the technical skills needed to pursue careers in the welding industry. With modern equipment, hands-on learning and American Welding Society-accredited testing facilities, students can build skills that translate directly to the workplace.

PHSC’s renovated Welding Lab at the East Campus features 24 welding booths, new Miller welding machines, upgraded ventilation and a welding simulator, giving students a modern environment to develop their skills.

Virtual Series:
Discover the history and progress of democracy. Sessions meet from 2-3 p.m. on Oct. 8 and Nov. 5.

Book Club:
Interested in learning more about this topic? Join our book club as we read and discuss "The Pursuit of Happiness: How Classical Writers on Virtue Inspired the Lives of the Founders that Defined America" by Jeffrey Rosen. Meetings take place from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at the West Campus on Sept. 9, Sept. 23, Oct. 7, Oct. 21 and Nov. 4 and Nov. 18.

We were excited to welcome representatives from HOPE Services, the Community Foundation Tampa Bay, Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC), and Hudson First United Methodist Church to learn more about Pepin Academies, meet our team, tour our campus, and see firsthand the impact being made in the lives of our students.

These tours help strengthen community connections, foster meaningful partnerships, and create new opportunities to support student success.

WOW! This week was packed with fun at !

We celebrated the start of a new semester with our Week of Welcome (WOW), a four-day event designed to help students connect with peers, faculty and staff through fun activities, free food and entertainment across all campuses.

Students kicked off the week at our Bagels and Beginnings event, enjoying a delicious bagel bar and other breakfast favorites.
