Check out The Dogs of Chernobyl 38 Years After the Nuclear Reactor Accident - Online Seminar on March 14th, 2021

“38 years after the nuclear accident I went to Chernobyl to participate in a spay/neuter campaign for the dogs that were descended from the pets left behind after the nuclear plant disaster of 1986. With many personally shot photos and videos I tell my story of meeting the inhabitants of the mostly abandoned town of Chernobyl City, the totally abandoned city of Pripyat and the dogs (and some cats!) that we encountered. It is a story of resilience, hope, life and even heroism. Q&A to follow.”

TREASURER POSITION OPEN FOR 2021-2022!

The Pre-Veterinary Club Executive Board application for the position of Treasurer is now open! The Treasurer position is available for the 2021-2022 academic year, and training will start in Spring 2021. We will be announcing the new Treasurer within the next two weeks. Keep an eye out for an e-mail from us; if chosen we will soon contact you with more information. The deadline to apply is March 9th at midnight. [Although we will review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis so please apply ASAP]
