Yesterday, Pacific College proudly celebrated our nursing students at their White Coat Ceremony.

This important milestone marks the next step in their journey from classroom learning to clinical practice, where they will begin caring for real patients in healthcare settings.

At Pacific College, nursing education is rooted in compassion, relationship-centered care, and a commitment to treating the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. We are honored to support these students as they grow into skilled, thoughtful, and patient-centered healthcare providers. 💙🩺

Congratulations to our future nurses on this achievement!

Nurses don’t just treat illness, they strengthen our communities. ❤️‍🩹

During a recent visit to Manhattan’s Chinatown, our nursing students explored how culture, tradition, and local resources shape health and wellness.

From learning about Chinese herbal medicine to sharing new experiences together, this was education in action.

 Beyond the bedside, nurses:

• Advocate
• Educate
• Lead
• Support communities

This Nurses Week, we celebrate the impact they make every day.

Rosaibeth Vargas Morales, BSN student, is proof that sometimes the most meaningful paths find you.

Growing up in a family of Western doctors, she saw both the strengths and the limitations of conventional medicine. What was missing was an approach that looked at the whole person not just the symptoms.

Rosaibeth is learning how to bring together the best of both worlds: science and spirit, Eastern and Western modalities.

She credits her nursing journey to Pacific College’s holistic approach, which empowers her to think beyond symptoms and support whole-person healing.

Her goal? To help others heal more fully and live more freely.

Studying herbal medicine in our acupuncture programs is no small task 🌿📚

With hundreds of individual herbs to memorize — their properties, temperatures, tastes, contraindications, and combinations — the coursework is rigorous and deeply detailed. But that’s what makes it so powerful.

There’s nothing more rewarding than formulating a custom herbal prescription tailored to a patient’s unique pattern and needs. It’s where theory meets intuition, and tradition meets real-world healing.

Today we cut the ribbon on something bigger than a new space.

Our new Nursing Simulation Lab represents how we’re preparing students for the realities of patient care. Where clinical skill meets critical thinking, confidence, and compassion.

This is where future nurses will practice, make decisions, and grow into the kind of professionals patients rely on every day.

A meaningful step forward for our students, our faculty, and the future of nursing at PCHS.
